Through the service a person having mobile phone of Urdu alphabets can send any identity card number on 7000 for information and could get reply message about name of concerned person and his or her other information. The service is being provided at low fees. NADRA started IDV service to reduce the fraud and deceive chances. According to this service any identity cards number could be confirmed through three simple phases through mobile phone of Urdu alphabets, sources said. The facility can be avail through any telephone network having SMS service. NADRA says all people and law enforcement agencies can benefit through the facility while the service would reduce the chances of fraud and deceit in private and trade fields. The service will also help in identifying criminals.

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR OPENING OF NADRA CENTRE AT TALUKA HEADQUARTERS BHRIA CITY DISTRICT NOUSHEHROFEROZE SINDH.

Sir,
With due respect it is submitted that Taluka Bhria City and its vicinity comprising of gialas of the Pakistan Peoples Party. They had presenting their lives for Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Sahiba.

Sir, despite this the Bhria City Taluka Headquarter of District Noushehrofoeroze is facing a lot of problems including non availability of the necessity of NADRA Centre. Resultantly the residents of this area have to go to the District Headquarter for CNIC etc. and for this purpose they have to remain waiting in ques for hours in burning heat and to bear exorbitant expenses on transportation etc.
For this facility I have time and again approached to all the Authorities for this facility but to no avail.

It is, therefore, requested to pass orders for opening of NADRA Centre at Taluka Headquarters Bhria City, District Noushehroferoze, in the interest of general public.

Smart National Identity Card (SNIC)

The Smart National Identity Card (SNIC) comes with 36 physical security features, making tampering extremely difficult and easily detectable. NADRA is also in the process of deploying pre-processing machines where citizens will conveniently process their Smart card followed by their fingerprint impressions to prove their identity. Hence, we are looking at a future where identity fraud in Pakistan will be completely eliminated. This is a HUGE milestone...just some of the possibilities that will be unleashed are as follows: complete elimination of rigging practices in elections, honest and transparent disbursement of governmental grants and aids to their deserving, and much more.


NADRA Chip CNICs – A New Technology soon coming your way
Technology is on its way, nobody knows where it will land but it is really serving humanity at its apex. Introduction of latest technology, equipments in every walk of life has enabled the mankind to save a lot of time, money, hitches and in some way security matters. Yes it is the time when it is about to bring in a big revolution in Pakistan as NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) has just announced to introduce Chip-National Identity Card. This is a fully new technology to Pakistan as it is being said that old cards will be replaced by these new CHIP-CNIC. Up till now it seems to be a really very good project regarding both the data processing and security.
According to NADRA, the soul purpose of this CHIP-CNIC is to identify the terrorists as it will help them to have fool proof security and identification which will really help in terrorism control activities. Six engineers have been trained in France for IT who will assist in this project in Pakistan. This chip is thought to be a blessing in security purpose as it will also be able to help security agencies regarding identification issues.
Further details and its features are still pending and will be published as we come across, meanwhile NADRA says, this chip costs around $4 to $5 abroad and it is aimed to provide this in Pakistan at much cheaper rates, around 80PKR. It is an electronic chip, connected to security mains and will have complete bio data of a respective person. This chip will firstly be issued to deportees and later on all existing NICs will be replaced by this new Chip-CNIC.
This Chip-CNIC is a big step towards getting rid of identity theft as in previous days it had become really easy to duplicate or make a fake copy of NIC and to misuse it but it will be almost impossible to fake it or to by-pass this security – yet nothing is impossible.

MISSION STATEMENT:
The Chairman NADRA, Mr. Muhammad Tariq Malik, is determined to instill in NADRA a culture of ethics & clean Administration. As part of the commitment the chairman has initiated the “Whistle-blower” program.

The goal of the program is to uncover misconduct, abuse and inefficiency and advocate appropriate remedies for them. The Chairman's principal objective is to promote ethics, efficiency and to restore and promote public trust and respect for Pakistan Government in general & NADRA in particular.

A dedicated team of NADRA’s investigation officers has been appointed to respond to the reports in the Whistle-blower Program and The Chairman NADRA will personally overlook the program.

HR Diversity Management Program (HRDMP)

Workplace diversity refers to the variety of differences between people in an organization. This sounds simple; however, diversity encompasses race, gender, ethnic group, age, personality, cognitive style, tenure, organizational function, education and more.

Internship Program
NADRA has developed extensive paid internship programs for the energetic and competent university graduates looking for challenging careers and diverse work environment. Internship programs are offered in the following three categories

Senior Internee: Candidates having 2 years Masters Degree or 4 years Bachelors Degree with one year experience are inducted as Assistant Manager (non-technical) or System Engineer (technical) for a period of six months
 
Junior Internee: Candidates having 2 years Masters Degree or 4 years Bachelors Degree are inducted as Assistant Manager (non technical) or System Engineer (technical) for a period of six months
 
Student Internee: Current students taking projects as part of their course are inducted for a period of three months in early June.
